Battery/Starting problems (again)
My bike wont start. I thought it was the battery before, which it was. I purchased an optimate 3 charger and charged the battery until it was ready.
The bike started, no problems. It started a 2nd time. Would it start 3 times? No!! So I charged the battery again, reinstalled the battery and left the bike for a couple of days. Next time I try to start the bike its a no-go. So I am now charging this bloody battery for a 3rd time in less than 1 week. Do I have a faulty battery?! |

sounds like a possibly faulty battery... or if youre running it, lights on and its not charging while its running then could be faulty rectifier. hope its the first.

Hopefully a faulty battery then
 Out of interest, how many times, without riding the bike inbetween, should I be able to start my bike from cold on a fully charged battery? I'd think many more than the 3 that I got, right? |
