Default FAO: People with ermax undertrays fitted! Number plate mount

I can't imagine a full size number plate being supported by the tiny shelf that is on my '05 ermax undertray. Has any one done this? Post pictures if you have please!

I actually have a 6x4" plate stuck onto the battery box at the moment, you can only see half of it!

I don't want to get busted though, hence why I am thinking of getting a proper (or at least larger than it is now) plate and mounting it on the right place where it can be seen!

Full size plates are just as bad as the snow shovel you removed!!

I rode around with the plate sellotaped to my rucksack for a couple of weeks after fitting my ermax as the bike looks better with no plate (and you can cover it for speed-cameras ).... local coppers eventually made me get one that fitted on the bike- they were happy with a 6"x4" plate.

Yikes....

Stick with the 6x6 or 6x4.... so long as you dont act like a prat and give coppers a reason to want to throw the book at you you'll be fine with those sizes!!

The smaller, the better.....

..... but the standard size plate dwarfs the bike!!

Surely having a BIG yellow thing on the back of the bike doesn't help either the asthetics or aerodynamics...!!

You've got rid of the snow shovel.......
