My copy arrived this morning courtesy of Play.com
Having watched it fully I can see why Rutter was let go. He really did make a lot of unforced errors. Since Kiyonari was faster all season it made sense to let the old boy go and bring in a young gun. A championship would of only delayed this really. |

bit sad really seeing gregorio lavilla being on top form, he's a great rider but we could have really done with having a brit win the title. i think young haslam is probably our only hope for next year or shakey if he returns to BSB.

mmm... I wonder how much Rutter's mid season injury had to do with his lack of pace at the end of the season. I'm sure his injury led to Kiyonari doing all the development work on the tyres while suiting Kiyonari they didn't suit Rutter's riding style at all.
Yes I agree its a bit sad that a young British rider didn't win the championship and next year it could be a dumping ground for foreign 'stars' who can't get world superbike rides. chris |
