my bike has gone senial

I posted the other day that my fuel pump is only working intermittently when I try to start the bike, so it wont start at times. Anyway you all found that so boring barely anyone replied.

But the plot thickens everyone ( you can hardly wait I can tell )....

I started the bike the other day, the fuel pump didnt work so it wouldnt start it was freezing cold and instead of the engine the electric fan started!? Then as I was driving down the road the fan was 'intermittently' turning itself on and off and it was about -20 and freezing. Its only meant to come on when the engine temperature reaches 100 degrees.

So I have some kind of electrical fault?? I took it to a dealer today, he scratched his **** then said he had no idea whats wrong with it, his only idea was it could be something to do with my datatool alarm.

any ideas?

Its actually for sale if anyone wants it , I bought a different bike and thought id sell it privately and I havent had a single call! and now its playing up! brilliant.

Top tip: It might sell sooner if you stop broadcasting the poor bikes little quirky habits.

Have you checked the loom for chafed wiring? It would be a good place to begin.

Personally, I think it's cursed you for buying something other than an SV!
