Im going to be getting my first bike this saturday. I've decided on the curvy 02 sv650s model. It's silver with 11k miles and looks really clean. Already has exhaust too!
One thing I want to know is if its possible to buy the round headlight, take off the front fairing and make it the naked bike instead? If so, how hard would it be to pull this off? Ohhh, im so excited ![]() ![]() Time to take my motorcycle class ![]() |

It can be done relatively easy if you stick to clip-ons methinks. Some braniac'll tell you in a minute

As for your other question, why dont you buy a naked bike it'll be a lot easier if thats the look your after ?

I ended up getting an 01 naked sv650 with 14k miles, from a dealer with a new helmet/tires/battery. Very nice bike. Faster than I expected.
