Default Aesthetic refinements, if you will......

Right! Seeing as how my '05 beauty is restricted and should theoretically remain that way until this time next year, I've resigned myself to foregoing (for now) my desire to enhance it performance wise.

HOWEVER....I reckon some aesthetic alterations are in order.

First on the list...getting rid of the fender at the back and doing something about those rear indicators. Here's what I'm looking at:

http://www.hardracing.com/FenderEliminators/Suzuki.htm

http://www.hardracing.com/Clear%20Ta...s/CLSuzuki.htm

I'm also looking at getting a set of grills:

http://www.hamicad.co.uk/SV650_Radiator.html

Comments? Suggestions? Criticisms?

NOW...anybody have any idea on how to clean up the indicators at the front?!

Doing something similar atm with my K5, opted for the hamicad in stainless steel. Didn't bother with the grills as I chose the lower fairings.

Front indicators I went for colour coded mini indicators, which look good but I haven't fitted them yet......apparently a xmas present :P

Next I want a dark tint Fabri screen and last but certainly not least (although may have to wait a bit till wife gives me the nod) a new exhaust system. Probably full exhaust.

Thats everything cosmetic wise.

Hi,

Well worth getting rad and oil grills! I managed to get my Mudguard into my radiator and its not cheap! In fact its bloody expensive!

Someone on this site has those lights (available on ebay too in ££) not sure about theit legality... same goes for the undertray with the mini plate holder hidden away. Nice stuff but you might get asked a few questions by a copper in a bad day mood....

You will have problems with the number plates, one it will not be leag size (not that I care mine isnt eaither) but most importantly it will (may) rub against your wheel and will make it virtually impossible to have a rear hugger......I've found at my expense.

I've got the grills - I think they good!

Get a garage to remove the screw holding the oil cooler cover though. It's a bugger!

Am looking at the Hamicad in stainless steel too.

Only thing is, I'm wondering if I'll be able to get those yucky indicators off it cleanly if I go with the incorporating the indicators into the tail lights idea?!

Anyone know!?

Indicators in the tail lights is a bad idea they are very dificult to see, i have a hamicad tail tidy and put mini indicators on, it looks good IMO.

Savage! They're actually nicer then the Hamicad ones. Didn't even know Beowulf did them.

Is there much give in them? I dropped the bike once and the radiator shifted a little bit....I'm wondering would it take some persuading for the grill to go on now?!
