As i am at work i can not say if i need to get short or long stem indys and was hoping someone could tell me what is right for a k5 faired sv. I would like to order them this afternoon you see.......

short for the front are good, as for the rear i find short are good as well BUT i have a motrax rsend which allows me to slide the indies out & in to suit my needs, also i have a small plate. with a hamicd *sp* you may need long stem espically if your plate is full size.

Mine's a 2000 model, but I have short stemmed ones on the front and long stems on the back. Seemed the logical thing to do to me, I'd rather have a larger gap between my cators and the tail light so it makes the cators more visible IMO.
