Any one know what license you need are they classed as a car or bike??
Are they exspensive to insure? as the Wife wants one. After a year on a scooter she decided to try a car but did not get on with it She failed her car test severall times and then gave up and now relies on me for transport. |

if you want to ride a quad on the road you must have either a car licence or a b1 class motorcycle licence. the law changed in 1998 for quads and reliants on bike licences. if she has got an A class then she cant. hope this nhelps. cheers. jamie

don't think they are what you could call cheap to insure & you have to pay the same road tax as a small car so i've been told, i must admit i like the look of some of them but can't really see them as practical - same down sides of a bike(cold & wet) & car (getting stuck in traffic).
