I've got an autocom:-
www.autocom.co.uk Excellent sound quality - very comfortable with stereo speakers mounted in the lid. Have tested talking to a pillion at 3 digit speeds with no problems. I have an Ipod plugged into mine. The music dips to half volume when you talk (or sing!) to the pillion, you can also plug a phone or satnav in aswell. Have had mine for just over a year and have not had any problems. No idea about the Oxford one though. HTH

I've got an intaride system, excellent piece of kit and a lot cheaper than the autocom. staff are also very helpful if any questions need to be asked. if u google intaride u should find their web site.

I have had the Oxford one for about a year. During the football season it gets used quite a lot as I take my 8yr old boy to Millwall (please no Jokes i have heard them all
![]() ![]() If you decide to get this one, wire the power lead you get with it straight to your battery it takes about 5 minutes, if you just use the batteries that come with it they dont last very long and you will spend a small fortune replacing them. I hope this help's |

Starcom1 are quite good, make sure you get a new model that has individual volume controls for each headset though.
You can wire it directly to the battery as it is turned on by pluging in the riders headset or use a 9v battery and it is also controled the same way. They tout it as being better than a AutoCom but i cannot vouch for that.

Another vote for the Autocom here. This is the only one I have used and found it to be very good. With the adjustable VOX levels it makes it a good system.
Seems to be that to be any good you have to pay the cash. |

frma dealer- do a search- I am not affiliated with any but it is the "chatterbox" and we paid only £15 new- it really is good....can hear each other at over 70 ... it is cheap and cheerful- no audio facilities etc but it is very very functional... |

I've recently bought the Autocom system for myself and my wife, complete with radios for bike to bike ability. Not had much use so far, but it seems very good, and the VOX levels are adjustable. I'm now a convert to having the iPod plugged in (other MP3 players are available!) - it mad the long slog up to Northwich far more bearable. They're not cheap, but they do seem to be quality.
