Some nice EBC HH pads will set you back around £20 a side.
As for fitting, a guide price is around £40 per hour labour. Changing the brake pads is a 5 minute job, so what you get charged depends on what the dealers minimum labour time is. |

I'll second that Scooby.....through me being an idle so and so it took me around three hours to get the pins out a week ago...completely seized.
After that was done and the pistons were cleaned up it took me around 25 minutes to do the pair and I'm a mechanical gimp ! On the basis of £40 an hour that'll be £140 labour charges sir !! Might be worth getting some WD on the pins (not on the pads I know) to help your chosen mechanic speed things up. I've just fitted the EBC HH jobbies and they don't feel any better than the stock pads removed.....maybe they'll get better with wear. Think they were aound £17 from Busters Accessories. ![]() |
