Default New number plate hanger & My bike being fixed

Finaly got my number plate hanging again on the back of the bike.
Because of the hacked undertray you are left with the CDI unit usaly just lying around under the rear seat, i found that there is enough space to mount it under the side fairing (even if there is a datatool alarm fitted), just had to make a small bracket and screw it to the frame. There is a small LED light on the number plate, but it does not seem very bright, so might need to do something about that.

It looks a bit far out, but the suspention is fully extended as its on the stand, when i take it off it should be fine i think.

I cant remember who uploaded the undertray plate diagram, but its what i used to do the cutting.

The tail tidy is one off ebay that is ment to be for a Yamaha R6, its tiny and hold everyting you need. Cost £12.50.

The replacement rear end bit was cut using a template that a sv650 member (cant remember username) made. I cut it from steel but i will redo it in ally soon.

And the tail tidy is held on using 4 small bolts/nuts. Unfortunatly my indicators are not wide enough by 0.8cm each side, so i had to trim the number plate a tad.

The updated pics from today. All rear end sorted out & back on firm ground. Note that bike is going back to a standard colour scheme (apart from the tank cover which will now be red, it was cheep £10 ok..). Still need the indicators, now found that i need new bulbs for the rear ones as they have blown.

Leds give off enough light its just to position is more critcle as the light angle is not very big. My light has 3 leds pointing in 3 directions. Not the biggest problem as the numberplate gets good light from the brake light.

I though about a glue gun but i did not want to start sticking things that i might want to remove later. Was it to the inside of the tray or under the fairing that you glued it. Mine you cant see at all.

I use a tank bag, i NEVER put a bag on my back anymore that might have anything other than clothes. (ps. Not shouting just stating that people that have a bag on their back and come off may sustain greater injurys). The last one was black and when i came off it ripped bits off it.

There is only a single gate, mostly i am fortunate that there is space for me to go right out. Its about 50/50 and time/day dependent. But the pavment is wide enough for me to move the bike around. I get darn close to the cars, probably about 5-10cm sometimes but never touched them. Its easy now to get in and out without having to get off the bike, just ride it in.
