Guys and Gals,
Its that time of year again and I have the bike in the garage stripped to the bone. I discovered that my hamicad tail tidy has rusted through the thin black paint. I am going to remove as much of the the old paint as I can whilst its still fitted to the bike and re paint it. Can anyone recommend a good paint to either spray on or paint on with a brush? Also notice paint flaking around the pivot points on my mirrors. Has anyone cleaned this problem up and re painted? If this corrosion carries on will have to go for the GSX-R in August......I know SV's arnt the best in build quality! |

Plasticote make a gloss finish paint with an elastimer ( sp ? ) in it.
Leaves a nice finish when sprayed on ( very similar to the finish on my Hamicad ) ![]() |
