Any of you lot tried Michelin Pilot Sports on your SV's? If so what did you think? I use the bike for a 10 mile each way commute most days and weekend blasts so they sound like they'll fit the bill.

Just fitted these after my second puncture went into the tyre about an inch from the first...
I still had about 5 or 6mm left on the D220's but wanted to change them anyway. Will let you know how I get on. How are you finding them? |

I've got pilot power sports on my raptor and they are utterly superb. Tons of grip and they're good in the wet too. The place I got them from say they wear well too for such a sticky tyre.
Hope this helps! |

I've had these a few weeks now and in comparison to the original Dunlops they are amazing.
![]() The Dunlops didn't inspire any confidence whatsoever, they felt somewhat "twitchy" when being chucked about in the twisties, but to be fair they were fine for just commuting. Now as far as the pilot sports go I haven't found a fault with them. They are so much fun in the twisties and make the bike feel planted to the road in the bends. As far as wear goes I'll just have to wait and see, I only got 3500 miles out of the original Dunlops so I'm not holding my breath. ![]() |
