Default 8000miles service

any ideas on cost i been told around the £300 mark as mine due one soon also gettin summer tyres fitted ready for summer

yeah, only thing is that i dont have any history apart from the parts i brought.

i have to do the 14500mile in a couple of weeks and thats a biggy

ive just done the 8000 mile service and all it cost me was an oil filter (£10) spark plugs (£10) Oil (i already had a full tub of oil). I had a look at the K&N air filter and it was clean. Just gave it a shake to remove the one fly that was in there.
Cleaned and regreased everything however i didnt get to do the brake fluid change or the anti-freeze change. I might do these in the next few weeks

I got quoted £120 from the local dealer for the service.

Was quoted £200 at West London Suzuki yesterday. Will do it myself though.

TBH, I'd DIY it, especially if its out of its warranty period (I serviced my SV myself without any problems )

Paid £250 inc rear pads and a remap at steve jordan's and a hire bike thrown in too!!! John don't go to george whites, my bike feels better than new now!!!!
