SV650.org - SV650 & Gladius 650 Forum

Idle Banter For non SV and non bike related chat (and the odd bit of humour - but if any post isn't suitable it'll get deleted real quick).
There's also a "U" rating so please respect this. Newbies can also say "hello" here too.

Default Preaching the SV650.org gospel

Everytime I pull up next someone on an SV, I starting shouting

"Are you on the SV forum?"

So far, not one has said yes Should I stop pestering fellow bikers?

Mabey you should flyer them.

The oddest thing i had, was on my way home on the Old Kent Road, stopped at the lights and the owner of my bike 3 years ago pulled up beside me and said if i had bought that from his freind. He was on a SV1000.

I've brought a few people here from other forums, but I've only had one success in person...

When I had my Falco, I got a message on the Aprilia forum I used to frequent from another user.

He'd seen me come past (he was on an old CBF1000) filter through traffic and raise the front wheel off of some lights (Falco's just do that ).

He knew it was me as my plate had a tag line of "You've been Jelstered"......

I spoke to a guy on a 749 one morning on the way to work who had just got an SV for commuting, he was picking it up later that week. I told him about the site, but I'm not sure if he ever came here.

And no, never give up preaching the word of SV650.org....

.

about 8 SV's chased another SV thru the streets of Bournemouth last year. I'm sure if we'd had the chance to speak to him we'd have told him about this website.....
