Default Replacement Suzuki fairing crash bobbins 11.00

Replacement Suzuki fairing crash bobbins.

Pair of replacement crash bobbins to replace the ones you may have damaged or you probably didn't even get a set for your bike. Suzuki ask $76.95c that's about £43.00 for them.

I will put together a pair of these ready in two to three weeks £11.00p plus postage and packing about £2.50 They will also include stainless bolts to attach them to the bike.

Will fit the SV1K & SV650 03 TO 06 bikes

Anybody interested?
(1) Ujoni08 plus axel bobbins
(2) jimmy4237
(3) Diveboy
(4) bikerskez
I have started a thread here in sv1000.zyns with a picture http://www.sv1000.zyns.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=17688

I will be adding them to my web-site soon.

You can’t add pictures here without hosting them somewhere first then adding a link.

Chewy i dont mean to offend but have these been tested at all? Dont R&G and DHM do a lot of research into crash bungs? Or are you comparing them to the standard of the Suzuki bobbins? A few on here i think have said they werent too grand.

Just remember the price of the stock ones! At least they can take inital impact of a drop even if they did bend back and that alone can save a cracked fairing....scuffing is cheaper to repair.

I’m confident they won’t snap as they are made from Delrin® Stock Shapes have many of the same characteristics of industrial metals such as brass, aluminium, zink, and stainless steel. Some comparable properties include stiffness, dimensional stability, impact resistance, and structural strength. These properties along with its reasonable price has led Delrin® to replace many industrial metals in various applications. Delrin® is an outstanding general purpose mechanical plastic, and is popular for its versatility in industry today.

I have a pair of axel crash protectors from R&G I am now in the process of having my own manufactured. I did show the company the R&G ones and they aren’t as tough as mine Also mine will have considerably more meat on them. The R&G seem to be made from soft plastic and at £25 a set I think my replacements at £13 will fly out the door.
