Default Filling oil on curvy with lowers...

well went to fil it today as couldnt see any on the screen and put 3/4 litre in and still couldnt!! Got it upright (not on stand) and still no. Nothing on my drive so no leak.

So how much can it take? i know it was low but put almost a litre in, defernetly overfilled as looked down and loads not sign on any.

This sound normall? i thought it was a bit much but is it normal?

Well youll have to excuse the backward American measure but the sv curvy takes 2.5 quarts. Ill leave it to you to convert to modern/logical metric measure.

Hope you hav'nt been riding it like that,or you may find you have damaged the engine. There are plenty of threads on here about bikes going bang cos they did'nt have enough oil in them.
