Default mystic mog

don't know if anyone remembers but about two months ago our beloved eight year old cat called mystic just disapeared (like they sometimes do?). she never did come back and the kids and lil lady were all pretty cut up about it. still are to be honest.

well, maybe right or wrong, a good buddy at work has offered me two kittens from his last litter of british short haired. they are a cream colour and only five weeks old. he is hanging onto them till they are 10 weeks old to get them inoculated and make sure everything is ok with them.

myself and the thunderdragon saw them for the first time last week and they are cute (yeah i'm a big softy) . we told the kids and they are over the moon but expressed how sad it was for mystic.

as you all know, have to move on so we'll spoil these little cuties till they start ripping the house to threads .

whilst out on the trusty steed today i felt compelled to pop in pets r us (somethin like that) and found myself looking at scratch posts, beds etc

i wanted a pet cobra, scorpion type thing but noooooooo we have to have kittens mind you......they have to put up with our ozzy

Kittens are awesome, there even sweet when they start chewing/pulling any possible lose threads in the house.

Climing the curtains is a big nono though

Are two cats latest trick is undoing the sofa covers when your not watching

Is anyone elses cats facinated with any relfected light from watches, cds etc. Ours see it for a few seconds and will spend the rest of the day looking for it.

Wow, I never knew all parrots were really Goths at heart. Hey, you learn something everyday!

Kittens are cute, but cats - meh - I had some real characters when I was growing up and nothing has really measured up since. I prefer dogs.

Spider was the tinyest little black cat ever and was agrophobic. He wouldn't even come out in to the middle of a room through choice. If you carried him outside he'd be quite relaxed, as long as he could bury his head in your armpit!

Vinny was the biggest long-haired ginger tom ever, and it was all muscle dude! He lived on my bed, when he wasn't out chasing, beating up and generally terrorising nextdoors two Dobermans. He hated dogs with a violent passion.

Then there was Snoopy, escape artist extrodinaire - in reverse! How that cat got into some of the places we'd have to rescue him from was unbelievable. We'd regularaly have to pop the bonnet of the car before driving off to check he hadn't gotten up into the engine bay again!

lol you lot seriously crack me up . quiff, ozzy n flowers do kind of look nice......never noticed. you are absolutely right in suggesting parrots self harm. they can do this for any reason but i will be spending a lot of time with him.

i do this already. he sits on me shoulder in the shower. follows me in the kitchen to make the tea. his favourite tune he whistles is the theme tune to the adam's family (sums my tribe up a treat) .

serious thing getting kittens. thunderdragon has had me re-decorate the lounge, hall stairs and landing so far. well, i had been treating the sv to a few bits over winter.....as you do

seriously though, it will be a gentle progression for the kittens and our ozzy. we did this with mystic and our last cockatoo Kiki so they'll all be well looked after.

the things you do to get out on the bike for a bit of peace and quiet (posts thread and runs as thunderdragon floats into room) .

thanks for the kind comments by the way, even the non-cat lovers.

here's one for you, looking for names for the little terr--oops, angels. a boy and a girl.............c'mon then. and keep it clean
