Default Egged!

So, there I was pulled away from the lights at bromley hill. See a kid on the other side of the road, didnt take much notice. Little ****er belts what i think is a tennis ball at me.

Does a u-turn down, and manage to catch the little sod and give him a bollocking. He soon jumped back when i light the back up when i pulled off.

****ing kids, he was only 12 - 13 i guess.

Gah, they should be strung up. But now I know my triumph gets hot enough to fry an egg on the engine

Ive had a cider bottle thrown at me when going under a bridge.... luckily bottle landed behind me, but contents splashed over myself and the bike... bloody stank as well... think it was white lightening

Chasing them down was not an option, as to get to the bridge would have been a mile detour off the road I was on...

If I ever catch someone do that to me within chasing distance, the police will be looking for body parts.. and not mine!

Kid booted a football across the road on the A13 near the lights past the limehouse junction. Had I been going for the traffic light GP I would have been off. Just knew instinctively as I saw him with the ball he might try that so held back.

As I was filtering a u turn wasnt an option to go have words with the mother.

Got kids kicking a rugby ball about near where I have my bike parked at current site.... Im waiting for a thud.. and my bike alarm to go off.. plus the local chavs/kids have noticed theres a shiny looking bike parked in their area thats faster then any car in that street so they are now taking interest in it... which has me worried at the moment, as even the building inspector was saying I wouldnt park it out ther if I were you! tempted to bring it through the fence, and park it in the container now! As I find myself checking for sharp objects under the tyres, or anything plonked into the chain... this is also where I dont like the fact that the oil cap is easily accesible

was sitting under a bridge with a few guys on 125s etc a couple of years back, and someone dropped a lit firework off the bridge over us!

we all legged it, luckily didnt do any damage to the bikes.

Valleyboy, get a bike cover, I have had a lot less people messing with my pride and joy when they can't see it. Having said that, I watched some students kick a ball about near my bike yesterday, and sure enough, the ball hit it at one point. I remember my window cleaner escapade and kept my mought shut to see the difference. Nothing really, just felt angry. So looking at option 3: aggravated bollocking and assault maybe...

Don't worry, speed cameras catch these sort of offences. We don't need more traffic cops to stop this sort of behaviour.

When I was a labourer I used to chain my (push)bike up in the container lock up, after all the tools had been taken out for the day. I'd have to move it out before we put the tools back in, but it was no bother once I got into the routine of it and no one ever tampered with it.

As Warthog says, a bike cover makes a massive difference. £15 one from argos is fine to put on, even when it's hot and it's small enough that you can easily jam it in your rucksack.
