I'm curious as to how much gear everyone has and if what I have is excessive, I seem to have more bike gear than normal clothes.

Currently have:

2 x textile jackets
2 x leather jacket
2 x leather kecks
1 x kevlar reinforced jeans
1 x textile kecks
1 x pair sport/touring boots
1 x pair casual boots
1 x pair motocross boots
1 x motocross kecks
1 x full face helmet
1 x open face helmet

1x kevlar jacket
1x kevlar trousers
1x helmet
1x spare helmet
2x pairs of gloves
1x pair under gloves
2x pair of boots

I've been the same size for over 20 years, so the clobber collection is excessive. Add the motorcross stuff up as well and its silly.

2 textile jackets - Fieldsheer Congo and Shift Super Street both in yellow
1 mesh jacket - JR Phoenix 3.0 in black
3 pairs of gloves - JR Razors, A Star SMX-3 Air Carbon and JR Super Moto gloves all in black
1 pair of moto boots - A Star SMX Plus size 45 in black
1 pair of riding jeans - Icon Anthem jeans 32x34
1 helmet - HJC AC-11 Yikes in yellow

But I've only been riding for less then 2 years.

2 textile jackets, both pretty good (one slightly tired Lookwell, one brand new Belstaff.
2 textile trousers- one fairly new Belstaff, one older Belstaff (retired as they lack hip armour, which i need now with my frail bones )
1 leather suit- Frank Thomsa 2-piece
1 leather jacket- older Frank Thomas Hyper Sports, with shoulders like on Dynasty. Big yellow patches, earning me the nickname the Flying Binman
2 helmets- one nice Arai Condor, one rather worn out HJC ZF-8.
2 pairs of boots- one pair Sidi Vertebra 2s for the summer, one pair Vertebra 2 Tepor for the winter. Fantastic boots, i'm totally a Vertebra man.

Gloves... Hmm. This is where it gets ridiculous. 1 pair of HG Pathan winter gloves, one pair of Richa Pathan rip-off winter gloves, 1 pair of useless Frank Thomas AquaRoo winter gloves. One pair Rhino waterproof all-season gloves. 1 pair Frank Thomas Strike summer gloves. 2 pairds of Akito summer gloves, more or less identical- from the TWO deal. So, 7 pairs.

Plus 2 pairs of undergloves, one cold killers balaclava, 1 Oxford Snood, one Buff, one pair of Belstaff overtrousers, one pair of HG Tribal waterproofs.

Most of that stuff's perfectly servicable too. Quite ridiculous

i'm gonna buy another helmet soon as i dropped mine off the back of the bike and it landed on concrete right on the crown, don't want to risk it.. i'll probably get a decent Arai when i get enough dough together, the HJC gives me a headache after a while and the visor mounts have snapped.. fortunately i'm not on the bike at the moment
