...I get a shuffling/brushing sound which goes as soon as I close the throttle, does anyone know what causes this?

I get this sound too, I figured it was the chain? I've done around 500-600 miles.

i was thinking chain, i used to get this problem on my zzr if it wasnt adjusted properly.

Thanks for the reply. Am just approaching 2000 miles. Pretty sure its not the chain

I've noticed some SV's have a bit of a gearbox whine. It's never been detrimental. Wear earplugs. You won't notice it then.

When the bikes moving, there will be no sound if i come off the throttle, but the sound will come even if I bring the throttle back on a little.

Give us a bit of a clue where is seems to be emanating from mate!! … and don’t say ‘the bike’

When on the bike sounds like its coming from infront/below me, not 100% sure though
