Default BMC or K&N air filter??

Hi guys!

I'm in need of an power air filter and have read topics mentioning both BMC and K&N, but which one of them brings more power to the SV 650 (K3)?

Need one desperately...and will most probably do adjustments with a Yoshi box...

Damn this beer tastes good...

Cheers!

I'd go for BMC myself and from what I've read over on the sv1000 portal is that the K&N's are even more restrictive than stock filters. I believe the BMCs allowed a more free flow. Pipercross are ment to be good too.

Can really comment on the FI models but the classic hatd the choice of 4 different BMC filters, which ment you could get the right one depended on what mods you'd done.

if memeory serves,
direct replacement for standard
street race
race
race rs

Not much help to you I know but others may lookin on this thread?

Cheers Mark.
