Default Wonder Stuff - Martin Gilks

"Martin Gilks The Wonder Stuff | 04/04/2006
On Monday 3rd April Martin Gilks died in a motorcycle accident in London.

It is a tragic loss to all his family & friends. Martin will be sadly missed & fondly remembered.

The Wonder Stuff "

A shame when two passions come together in such tragic circumstances...

Very Sad, one of the best gigs I ever went to was the Wonderstuff.
Will have to dig the CD's out and give them a listen in his honour.

Ye gods. I remember spotlighting for them when I was crewing Reading Festival and they headlined. That was the gig I discovered that Bob Mortimer is a cool guy, but Vic Reeves is a drunken tosser.

At least it was a death unsullied by booze, drugs or depression. A rare thing in the music industry it seems.
