Default Changing Brakes and Lines. Advice please.

I'm going to put new pads on and braded hoses. Question is what pads and which hoses and where from. I don't have wads of cash so the cheaper the better. Bike is a K4.

I used HEL lines on my old Hornet with good results. The sintered pads do chew your discs faster, depends how many miles you are going to be doing (price of discs, vs brake performance etc....) I'm tight so avoid them!!!.

Cheers

I take it these are the ones from ebay. I might just go for the Goodridge ones for £49

If you buy direct from HEL they will give quite a good discount if you mention this site.

The HEL lines for the SV650 are a little bit long IMO

Did they not say they would adjust the length of their kits after you submitting your findings Tricky?

Not that I'm aware of, they did shorten mine (for a small fee) but it did take two attempts before I was happy with them. HEL where very proffesional and helpful but it did take a few weeks to sort out.

*** EDIT Just for the record, they do feel a lot firmer than the stock ones, they look cool too
