Default New Exhaust

Hi

I am on my first SV650S. Its a Y-Reg, yellow with lower fairing. At the moment I have a standard exhaust but would like to fit something fruiter. Thinking of a Remus or a Renegade. How easy are these to fit on my own and can anyone offer any advice?

H

Welcome to the site.

I had a yellow 650s with twin hi-level carbon renegades - sounded awesome and looked great. Very good quality cans, and I would have no hesitation recommending them:-

I now have a SV1000 with twin titanium Remus Revolution cans - they are sound like thunder and split flames (allegedly)

Both are very good cans - if you can afford it, go for the twin hi renegedes

Welcome to the site.

I fiited a Scorpion to my Bike.
Piece of cake to fit.
Just cut off the old at the point shown on the Scorpion paperwork add the link pipe and fit the new can.
Align everthing up so that it is sitting pretty.
Tighten everthing up and Robert's your Dad's brother.

Don't know about high level, but imagine something similar with a bit more time spent aligning probably.

That easy.

I think I have decided on a Scorpion (not Carbon cause knowing my luck the Police will have me up for a race can), in terms of buying one, will i need to buy the link pipe as well, or can I just buy the can of ebay and slip my stock can off and slip the Scorpion on?
Will I have to cut it?

Cheers H
