nowt special but after advice on the forum-
I got me a clear lens... went to look at small indicators today - lots I like- just gotta sleep on it gotta go HG tomoz then make a decision- but - LED or normal.. wot u think?>?? and do I need to be an electrician to fit them or is it simple- folk talk of shrink sleeve or sumfin...(cant I use a joining block! <<joke) but I am unsure how u join the wires..! and I need a" fingy" do i to reduce the indicator speed if I have LED's OK me rear clear- like I say u seen one before.. but hey ![]() |

How much was the lens mate? Looks good! Might want to blank out your plate in future though, my dad had his cloned by someone in taunton.

Quiff...Maybe if you give that big bottle to the left of your bike a good rub, the genii will help you out?
Ok with LED's there is every chance that a resistor will be required in order to prevent a fast blink speed. If you opt for LED's the shop should be able to advise...a search on tuning and tweaking should find you something if you enter LED's. Ideally you should solder the wires to ensure best results. The heat shrink is basically sleeving which you slide over one of the wires before the joins are soldered. Then when soldered slide the shrink over the soldered joint. Then with say a hair dryer blowing on the heat shrink sleeve...it will shrink and seal and protect the repaired cables. With good lenses I dont see why LED's have to be the option meself.Just flavour of the month to my mind. |

u r all so sad.. matt I said before I cudnt be rsed to blank me plate.. I mean I ride it around all day ! ..anyone can clone it.. Oh Peter- ta fo rthe info too.. that big pot is what Kims night cream comes in- she gets through 2 a week !!! -late response- I watched the first 10 mins of cliifhanger.... and ended up watchin loads B4 I come to my senses.. |
