Default Number Plate Spray - Photo Blocker

Does anyone know if this actually works?

http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/moto...ent_prod/11563

Just interested. I'm not going to be buying it as it's expensive for a can of spray and I def. don't speed past cameras, (rear facing anyway)!

It says it works off flash cameras which are Gatso's I believe..
Any reading this who has an opinion?
It does say legal, is it?

Bloke in work has some and reckons it works. He didn't take me up on my offer of "demoing" it by driving through a camera at high speed though...

No it is not legal, and yes it does work which is why it is illegal, and if it says you cant notice it once it is applied, not true you can see it and so can the police.

Good luck

anyone caught by a gatso deserves to be to be honest, theyre always relatively easy to spot, theres a lot of white lines on the floor and 9 times out of 10 there should be signs up warning of the camera. Im not saying that theyre right because some are in some stupid places and if anything it leads to accidents because people slow down to pass them.

The flash proof numberplate wont work on the systems the police use as they dont use flash.

It would be perversion of justice, I think, the same as using a flip up number plate.

You have to remember that both "anti flash" plates and this spray are only of any use at night. During the day although a Gatso may flash, it has enough ambient light to take a photo anyway.

And Rob, you certainly haven't seen the sort of places they put Gatso's down here.... Behind bushes etc, and on the A3, there's one directly behind a bloody great road sign and you can only see it once it's too late.

we had one right behind a major new sign saying new road layout ahead.. it was on the left as u come down a hill .. camera was there already- ! then hte new sign went up right in front of- oo wot a surprise..

lobbied the local council and viathe local paper-- it got shifted down the hill and the camera now revealed..

theres a car down my stret with this stuff on-
its so obvious..and thats to me- so a traffic cop would smell it !!

i believe the negative of the photo taken will still show up the numbers on your plate...this is how they have got around anti flash plates.
