Default ITM Alarm Problem

Hi all, lost my keys a week or so ago so ordered a new spare alarm fob from the manafacturer - ITM. It's an Abletronics Absolute Protec. No matter what I do (two of us on the job-one to count LED flashes and me doing the on/off with the ignition) I can't get the alarm de-activated and so can't add my new fob to the alarm. The guy at ITM seems to think that I'm a muppet (may well be right )
Anyone with any experience at this? Anyone in the Soho massive able to help me out with this?

Cheers.

Sean

I've got one and to be honest it looked quite easy to do when the guy from ITM had to do it on mine to add an extra fob, but he didn't have to disarm/deactivate it as I still had the orginal fob. You seem to know what to do with the ignition and the LEDs so are you sure you've got the right code?

Also they just used a rebadged Meta alarm so anyone who can work a Meta should be able to help you out.

Thanks Valman. I'm using the 5 dijit code on the blue card given when the alarm was installed. The problem is I've got a couple of ones and the timing of the LED is so fast we can't seem to get it Once you've tried and failed three times your locked out for half an hour....

That doesn't sound right. My LED is on the back of the bike so I had to count the LED flashes and call it out to the ITM guy and they didn't seem that quick. Just try to anticipate the flashes so you can turn the key as soon as the LED flashes.

I think it flashes very quickly for about ten seconds, then the flashing slows and that's the point at which you start counting.

Maybe.
