Default Bike running very "lumpy" when top speed is reache

This morning on my way to work, I tested the top speed again on the private road section...

Once the bike is flat out it starts to jump

It jumps b etween 120 & 130 mph. It's not just the speedo indicating, the engine sounds strange & I can feel the bike pulling/stopping/pulling/stopping.

What's the matter with it now

Is it hitting the redline limiter? The SV should not be able to in 6th unless you are geared way diffrent.

Just read it again, it cant be the limiter unless the gearing is realy changed as at max revs you would be doing abt an indicated 135. Well on mine its like that and its geared +1 on the rear.

Sounds like what you are describing is your engine surging, which is more likely to be a fueling issue.Maybe a bit of fuel starvation at high revs?

No the revs are fine.
will have to look into getting it rejetted.

I just put a fuel cleaner into the fuel system - might that cause it ?

Not too bad I suppose. Cheaper to fit your own and not that hard to do.

Absolutely fine again this morning.

I "think" it must have been the fuel system cleaner getting rid of some build up gunk...
