Sounds like a bit of a laugh dont it?

Not enough street entertainment in London imho so i'm quite keen on this. Thank god i have a bike tho, being stuck in a cage behind a huge mechanical nelly would just drive me mad

We've had them assembling and rehearsing with the "puppets"(huge elephant, woman etc) at our offices(Battersea Power Station) and everybody in the office can't stop looking outside at them. They look truly awesome and gigantic - the elephant reminds me of the Oliphants in the Lord of the Rings. These big things look pretty solid and are mainly operated by hordes of puppeteers pulling away at strings. If you can come into central London to see the show you will not be disappointed.

Gets the thumbs up from me. Note enough of this sort of thing in our fair city.

However, I notice (with amusement) that the road closures are going to be quite long and dare we read into anything the fact that its a French troupe blocking the centre of London???

Ah, that explains why Road up to Buck Palace was closed this evening, and why there was all kinds of metalwork on the surrounding roads. Makes sense now.....er....

I wonder if we could train it to squash white vans

Well it does actually sit down (v impressive to see), so I'm sure if you positioned said van strategically underneath it's behind, job done!
