Road my bike to work in a downpour yesterday...
After work, it started up fine..then spluttered away until it stalled about 5 minutes into the ride. Tow guy finally came and attached electrical prong things to battery and reckons that it's idling at 14.85-86v which is too high and probably needs a new regulator. Towed to bike shop.... Next day, sunny dry weather...bike shop Bob Thomas say it's fine, they rode for a few miles and no problems. Probably the wet weather? What do you guys reckon i should do? |

Sounds like the common front cylinder getting water in it. Apparently silicone grease applied liberally where the spark plug goes into the cylinder should solve it.
