I'm sorry if it's been on before.
It just reminded me of when I was a dealer some years ago, and of my all time record accident time. To stop accidents like this one, I refused to deliver 'bikes for learner riders to anywhere other than a proper training centre. One Saturday, I delivered the usual batch to the centre, just a mile away, at 08.50. By the time I got back to the shop, I had received a call from the Instructors asking me to return to the centre! I got back there at 09.05 to find a 125 stuffed in a wall and the rider, with a badly sprained wrist, being loaded into a taxi to the hospital. By 09.15 I was back at the shop with the bike....twenty-five minutes!! (I might add that it was repaired by 11.00 but that's another story) |
