Default Does anyone remember "Slenver" ??

He was one of the original "Massive".... (Name's Dan IIRC)

Well I'm reliably informed that he will be competing in Minitwins this season....

So now the SM have our own racer .

Hi Mark

Oooh, haven't been here for ages.... !

Feel bad now, should have come and mentioned the minitwin stuff... something I'd been talking about for a while but didn't really expect to actually get on with doing. But, amazingly, I'm now licenced (it's in the post apparently ) and got my first race in just under 3 weeks now..

Bought a bike a while back and did the licence day at Snetterton the weekend before last - first time I'd even sat on an SV since mine went walkies a couple of years ago. All very exciting and can't wait to get stuck in..

So, how's things here?

Hi Dan,

O same old , same old, you know, bit older, bit wiser, couple less toes, same old store.

I've often though it would have been great to have had something like mini twins back when I first started clubbing, all a bit thrown in the mix in thoughs days, bike and riders of different performance and abilities all together that is, alass I'm just a bit to old and fragile these days.

so what's this then, giving it a seroius crack, or more of an extended hoddy?

so when and where's this first race then?

Never know might pop by for a look see.

Cheers Mark.

It is a great series in terms of (very relatively) low costs due to minimal tuning and cheapish bikes etc.... and a nice level playing field too...

It's a serious crack in that I'm planning to do all the rounds and seeing how it goes. It's also going to take an awful lot of my time and more than all my money

On the other hand I don't expect to be particularly successful or anything so it's just kind of a hobby in that way. We'll see though.... it's just something I know I'll regret if I never try so it has to be worth all that time and money in that respect.

First race is Snetterton on the 25th/26th - other races are here.. would be great to see some of you there if anyone fancies a nice day out.. Brands is obviously relatively close and both of those are in the summer too

Here's the new steed on the licence day... will hopefully re-spray at some point as it's in somebody else's colours still
