which model is it, loom plug in or does it have to be wired to the speedo & revs?

It needs to be wired in. I don't know whether you can get an additional plug & play style loom, I checked datatool's website but I can't see any info on this.

Dont want to annoy anyone but for info Crescent Suzuki where unable to wire one of these to my SV650 they could just not get it working properly.

The Acumen worked fine and is what I have now fitted.

I have 2 friends with these. One on a Blade and one on a gixxer 750.

I've ridden both bikes (lucky me ) but they both appear to not always work correctly.
I know it takes pulses from the Rev counter to 'guess' the gear you're in, but I was in top on the gixxer and it showed 2nd and 3rd!
Yes, the guy who wired it in is very techincally minded, bikewise, and electrically, but it never seemed to work properly.
The one on the blade seemed better.

Anway, nothing wrong with guessing. Drop down 2, if not enough another 1!
