On my SV i just collected 2000/W plate, i think its got the european headlamp

the right hand side if you look at it head on is a projector style jobbie. now the bike was originaly registered over here so does that mean its a parralel import or somthing??

also, what are the projector headlamps like??

Not the US, I know that much. And the 650's never been out in Japan, as far as I remember. So probably some part of europe.

First registration doesn't tell you much, that just means it was imported as new. Maybe you can find out from the chassis number?

Well, here's the obvious thing we've missed- could be a replacement headlight.

Never actually met one in person, but in theory the projector should be a better light than is standard. It's the dip, I understand, don't know where it'll point though. The other lamp, I think, has a H7 in it for full beam only.
