Default Sticky tyre for summer '06?

Summer is coming and my Diablos are fooked. I liked them, but they're old tech. What's the latest sticky hoop that'll still do a wet early morning?

i'm amazed by the grip from my D208RR rubbers.

Dont expect much more than 1000-1200 mile though from a rear.

Might try the pilot power 2CT tyres next time I need to change both rubbers to see if I can get any longer life out of them without compromising grip. Plus having the 2 compounds is something else to talk about lol

Our USAnian friends love the Pilot Powers... But myself, I'd call them overkill. Expensive too.

Lovely grippy things. They come as standard on the Speed Triple.
Pilot Sports might be a better choice.

I still enjoy the Avon Viper Sports. Very sticky but still not that expensive. I get almost 5k out of a rear and so far over 9k on the front.
I reckon the front will last till the end of the new one I just put on. So about mid July, I think.
