Default whistleing can

hi guys since i put my new scorpian can on ive noticed a whistle, if i rev the engine in netrul and then drop the revs i hear this wistle, i thaught at first it was because i hadent sealed it but after sealing with silocon its stii there. i dont think theres any leaks.
is this normal for a scorpian? or could there be a air leak sumwhere in the can? i actully preferd the can befor i sealed it but ended up using lots of juice. cheers

I assume you've taken the baffle out, but not plugged the drilled hole at the bottom of the end pipe used to connect the baffle? Try plugging it and it'll probably stop, as it may make the can act like a tin whistle

My Scorpion does exactly the same. Just a gentle whistle like sounds are it reaches idle from a rev.

I thought that was normal.

Never heard of having to plug the Baffle hole.
Must try it and see.

Just use the screw that you get with the baffle and a s/steel nilock nut to fill the hole. But don't do what I did and drop the screw down the exhaust and have to remove it to retrieve the screw

Hmm I have this funny noise too, never thought of plugging the hole up!

Will have to try and find that screw then!

My scorpion does that and so does the akroprovic cans with removable baffles. As jambo said try plugging up the hole. i don't notice mine its not as if i'm sitting behind the pipe at any time anyway so its not a problem :P

Looks as if you have the sound a bit like the old BSA Gold Star, everybody tried to copy it and there you are, got it for free.
