Default Fitting exhaust above the rear wheel CBR 600RR-style

Hi all,

I was wondering if it is possible to reroute the whole exhaust system on an 2000 SV 650 so the silencer can be fitted above the rear wheel.

My technical knowledge is limited, so forgive me if this is a stupid question.

Thanks!

Google for Renegade exhausts.

Welcome BTW.

Better still look here

Here's a pic of my bike with a CBR style underseat pipe.

With a lot of work. Clearance is the main issue. You will need to jack the rear end up by about 2-3inhes to get full wheel travel and a std size can under there. However, you could cut out the under tray, remove the rear light and have it there, then fashion some kind of lighting unit to fit underneath.

Whatever you choose, it aint easy, nor cheap. Try www.zorstec.co.uk

When I got no votes at all in the SV Rider SV of the month contest, TLR709's bike was why. I voted for him too It's superb work...
