Default Can you mix different brands of fork oil?

Basically I want to produce some ~10w oil by mixing the correct quantities of 7.5 and 15w oil (it’s a long story!! ).

Now I would have no qualms doing it with the same brand oil, but not sure if I should do it with mixed brands, just incase there is some sort of detrimental effect (like the additives react with each other ?!?).

Anyway, I have two oils:-
Motorex (Racing) 7.5w
Bell Ray (High Performance) 15w

Anyone see any reason why not to mix?

Fire away. I mixed some halfords stuff with some proper castrol (I think) oil, hasn't done me any harm. And that was 10w and 15w. I mixed them to equal degrees to get the right grade but I seriously doubt it matters enough to upset the handling.

No problems at all.
