Default Empty moves to the dark side

Well, it's happened, I've bought a new bike and finally been allowed to use it (had to wait a few weeks for insurance to run out so I got the extra year no claims bonus).

It looks remarkably like this one (except I've fixed the indicator now), MOT'd today (slightly warped front disc only problem that needs looking at), otherwise all good. Pity it peed it down all the way there and back, Rictus can indeed testify to this as I met him at Essential Rubber while getting the MOT.

MT (happy to be back on the road)

During the test ride, well, I had to check it wasn't going to drop out of gear or anything, didn't I? Would have been rude not to. At the moment I am taking it somewhat slow, since it takes me a while to get used to a bike (esp after spending just over a month on a naked SV, sportsbike riding is taking a while to come back), plus it was hammering down this afternoon and there were diesel spills everywhere.

No, it is W reg.

Familiarisation ride tomorrow methinks - if the weather is nice look out for the idiot bimbling along in the comedy leathers, looking scared and with a huge grin.

Can indeed testify to it being, a smart example. Although after having ridden around in beautiful weather all morning I've got a sneeking suspision it was Marks fault coming out on it that turned the weather to crap.

I of course would point out that it has a rather significant defect, which is clearly apparent, in that at the factory they obvoiusly missed of the top coat and sent it out in primer

Cheers Mark.
