Default A Question for the ladies

Well a question from the other half

Mrs Sharriso wants to get hair extensions done but has been told she'll have to sign a disclaimer as they don't guarantee that wearing a crash helmet won't damage them.

Does anyone here have hair extensions or know about them???

Cheers

Don't know much about them to be honest but i would've thought they are covering themselves as they could come out when you take the lid off but then no more than normal hair

I'd be surprised if wearing a helmet would damage them, I would have thought extreme heat etc would be the only problem? Does she actually want them 'full time'. I know of a few places that supply temp/fit your own (with clips).

She wants the full time glued on ones.

With any luck they'll glue the rest of the hair on so I'm not unblocking the plug hole all the time.

Right then,

Both my Mum and Laura have permanent ( last 3 month or so i think) Glued in hair extensions. Laura's are a DIY kit from Leeds / Wakefield Market costing £40 for hair and £2.50 for glue. Mum's are £150 ish ones from hairdressers that can be re-applied upto 4 times.

Both of them wear helmets average of once a week (although it can be upto 3 or 4) and neither wear balaclava or similar to stop helmet rubbing them. Neither of them have had any of the extensions fall out from taking helmet off or putting it in, And neither have said that it makes their helmet uncomfortable.
