Default Which Adhesive?

I'm in the process of replacing the stock clip ons on my SVS with the ABM conversion kit. All is pretty much going to plan (depite the fact I'm mechanically inept).

There's one thing that I'm just not sure of and that is what adhesive should I use to bond the throttle grip to the new bars? Any ideas?

When i worked in a MTB shop we always used hairspray, wet enough to get the grip on easy, solid when its dried, but not too solid if you ever want to get it off again

the trick with hairspray (I always use it on grips) is to leave it AT LEAST overnight to dry - longer if it is cold.

Do not touch the grips during this time, when dry it is pretty good and very easy to get off.

Sounds like a plan.

Do I shampoo and condition beforehand?
