well sat at my desk..5 mins ago and I hear the roar..!!

theres a local business man that comes to see his gran from time to time - she lives 2 doors down from me

You hear him a mile away !!

well anyway - here's his nice bike. ( Inipped out quick with me camera.. sshh )

It revs to 9k, has water cooling, and is apprently not a bad bike. As for the 280 rear conversion, and by the looks of it some nice n quiet road legal cans, it dint look to bad.

It's the water cooling that puts them off. The V-ROD's engine was designed with Porsche. a good european selling point but not something that impresses your average 1%er wannabe.

Oh yes, the same thing happened when Porsche stepped up to water cooling in the 911 engine (was it with the 993 or 996?), I believe.

FWIW, out in the US, my Magna would stay with most Harleys....except the V-Rod. No chance with one of them. VERY quick!
