Bad habit!

Peeps for some reason when i am progressing throught my gears quite hard the damn thing jumps into neutral for some daft reason. The chain is ok and adjusted fine.....sprockets dont look worn so any ideas on what the problem is and how to fix?

id check your clutch adjustment, reset it at the lever end, and adjust from the other end.

also, id check that the lever is engaging the gears properly.

I'd also make sure you're giving a positive enough push on the lever.

nah seriously they do, but make sure that youre giving it a positive enought push when you go up, mine used to be a bit prone to popping out if you didnt give it enough

Adjust your gear lever down.

get some different boots and try them. Be positive with your shifts, dont be too gentle.

As above. When you're "making progress" you tend to move in the saddle to have your feet in a different position to when you're commuting / tootling, in that they tend to move further down. Push your lever down a touch and you shouldn't have the problem.

I hit neautral like you, think it's due to a combination of the above and a lazy change action.

Cheers for the comments peeps but im not gentle with my shifting and do give a good kick in into gear so it might be the clutch...i will keep an eye on the shifting anyway as i might be getting lazy!

dirty linkage will have the same effect, make sure it's cleaned & lubed and moving freely

Yes the chain was the issue here.....me being lazy and doing my daily commute of 150 miles i havent been greasin her up!!! Bad boy me!
