Default Tank Paint K5

Hi,

Just bought a new set of leathers and after just 3 weeks, I have noticed that the paint on the tank is rubbing off where my leathers are catching the tank. Is there anything that can be done to prevent this as give it another 4 weeks, and it will be down to the alluminium.

Cheers.
DJ.

No, what are they and how much are they? I am assuming that they are stickers but I am not over sure.

Tank protectors are basically big stickers that you put on your tank to protect it from scratches from your jacket or fly.

They cost from £3 to about £20 and any dealer in the world should have them for sale.

Don't worry aboutt he scratches as the protector will cover it anyway and they are normally a permanent feature because not many people take them off again.

Hope that helps.

Aye, pop into any bike shop and you willl be bombarded with a choice of designs/colours and materials.
Or you can get a baglux tank bra.
