Default ICE Contacts

Since 7th July last year I've added a number to my mobile phone: "ICE".

Stands for In Case of Emergency.

If the paramedics/police do need to access your mobile for you next of kin details the right person gets contacted first.

Could be worth having in case you do get involved in an accident & are not in any state to give medical info to the paramedics.

This is a fantastic idea. I did it as soon as it was mentioned on the news after 7/7.
Everyone should do it as the medics will now check your phone if you are not conscious.

I've also got my blood type and allergy status in my phone as ICE listed as well.

Oof! That's a dodgy one... I don't have any proper allergies but I just thought I'd have it in there so they wouldn't hold back 'just in case'...

Peeps with PDA type devices can keep loads of info in their ICE record, all that it depends on is that the person trying use get the info understands the PDA.

Mine's just listed under ICE in my contacts so they'd come across it while looking for ICE numbers to call.
