Default Is my bike a Cat D ?

Following on from my Hit and Run described here http://forums.sv650.org/viewtopic.php?t=42193

I acquired the necessary parts to get the bike roadworthy.

While fitting the indicator I noticed this

Now I know the triple-clamp can be replaced but there is the smallest of indents to the actual frame lock-stop.

Will this make the vehicle a cat D ?

Nah. Wee dent's nothing. And you only get written off when you're getting damage assessed for insurance, if that's not happened then you're fine.

They won't cat D it just for that, I bet you a pound. Maybe as a result of the other damage, all combined, but not specifically for that.

if the repair would cost 50% or more of the bikes value, it will normally go cat D at that age. and they will normally give you a brand new replacement bike, as you are within the bikes first 6 months.
