Default Both going

lads n lasses

I've decided after long consideration to get rid of the Car and Bike, adn trade both in for new car.
My decision is final, and I think the most important decision is the fact that I like my little life, and I'd really like to see my kids grow up.

Some major factors have been taken in, and the fact that I do, do a lot of miles on two wheels, has saved me not money whatsoever.
Even not paying over the bridge, all comes out the same when using the car. when you consider paying out for bits n bobs ont he bike, lids, gloves, things to keep you warm, things to cool you down..etc etc.. and general upkeep.

Plus after seeing the most horrific accident along the M4 last week, which was a true shock to my system, and the fact that I lost confidence in the SV (as a bike) a long time ago, has contributed to my decision.

Sad to say that more than likley this will happen this weekend. So I'm guessing my days on the forum are coming to an end also, as I guess I wont be needing advice, reading up on "How To's" . But will miss the good laugh's and urine taking, and the odd bods that appear on here from time to time.

Nough said me thinks!

Sorry to hear that, but if it's right for you then go for it...

Sorry to hear.
You don't get banned from here though,as it's not compulsory to own a bike!
With your mileage you must have built up a few years credit anyway.

Can't argue with that.

A number of times down the years I have almost taken your action.

Usually after almost being killed for the 100th time. Just the feeling is too strong.

You can always change your mind in 20 years and become a born-again

You can always stay in the Idle Banter section, I admire you for making what is obviously a tough decision. Take care.

What about all that invaluable knowlege that you can pass on ?
The money this site has saved us as a group is incalcuable, through sorting our own little probs and not having to go to a dealer @ £ god knows what per hour ?
All the best.
You'll be back - once a biker...........
