Default Think you're having a bad day....

...you could be me

7:10 Alarm goes off but makes no noise as the vloumes turned down to minimum
8:10 Wake up and realise i'm gonna be late for work
8:45 Roll into work 15 minutes late
12:30 Go out for lunch
12:35 Put everything back on shelf realising i left my wallet at home in mad rush
14:00 Blag a sandwich and bag of crisps off tea-lady promising to pay tomorrow
16:00 kit up ready to go home
16:10 Walk down 4 flights of stairs cos the lifts are broken
16:15 Bikes batteries dead
16:20 Roll bike to ramp at end of elevated car-park and attempt to bump start
16:30 Give up after 6 attempts with back wheel just sliding
16:30 Push bike back up ramp and ring dad to bring transit van
16:35 Walk up 4 flights of stairs back into office to make some more time up and wait for dad.

Hopefully it'll go into the Van ( It's a transit but has rear seats in it otherwise it's getting rolled into office building and i'm leaving it here for the night.

I don't but you obviously have.

Just think things will be better tommorrow. Who turned your alarm clock down anyway?

Don't use the lifts daily, do the stairs instead, and not only will that part be out of the "bad luck" list, but you'll also do some exercise! Result!

That's what I do, at least!

I take it she doesn't like being woken up too early then?

Sorry to hear about your day mate, but if it's worth a giggle...

I recently fitted a new engine to the CG125 that's been parked in my back garden for a while now, and ran it through for a while. I decided it'd been a while since I'd been for a blat on her, so later that evening, I geared up, went out, started it up, and rode off. Couple of hundred yards down the road, the engine slowed & then died. Checked the choke, it was out, but new(er) engine, so tried pushing it back in, still wouldn't fire. I was cursing at this point and almost ready to push it home, until I saw the fuel tap I guess I'm just getting too used to the SV's FI system.

Well I:

Woke up normal time
Got bike out of the garage, squeezed past my car and next doors.
Put bike the bike on the stand to lock the garage door.
Bike then fell over, needs indicator, fairing, gearlever, clutch lever, bar weight. (stopped looking at this point)

Then i had to go to work!

bugger.

This morning I woke up, looked at the clock, loads of time, got up, strolled around, realised the clock was slow, and it was 9.45. ****.

What I wanted to say was, did you try sticking it in second? I find it skids in first, but not in second so much, and you have to finnese the clutch a little.

Bitter experiance talking here. Burnt reg/rect a month after I bought the SV, and I thought the whole time it was a dead battery. That was until I met the Messiah Squid via SV650.org.
