Default Missing topic

Think I've had a topic removed, or it didn't post properly.

I was asking advice about whether I should Hire an SV 650s to try one out, or should I go to the Dealer and have a go. Problem being, New to biking, so NO bike insurance.

DO all dealers cover you on their insurance?

Obviously it will depend on the dealer but all the ones I have visited make you sign a form that gives you a £1000 excess! Also its getting common (well, in Norfolk anyway) that you have to wear a yellow tabbard and follow a specific route - apparently the insurance companies are insisiting on this...

Posts between Wednesday and Saturday were lost when the forum went down.
You had tons of replies offering really great insightful advice, including one or two offers of free bike trials for the weekend.
Shame you don't log in often enough to know whats going on! - Light weights eh?

Seriously, try all your local dealers for a test ride, if they won't give you a try, you'll probably find it even harder to hire.
